Aboriginal Youth Leadership Program

Awakening Our Leadership Spirit

Please note that the AYLP program is currently undergoing some program modifications.  Stay tuned for exciting announcements

The Aboriginal Youth Leadership Program is a joint pilot project between the Thunder Bay Indian Friendship Centre (TBIFC) and Leadership Thunder Bay (LTB).

LTB and the TBIFC have agreed that in all respects the Aboriginal Youth Leadership program initiative is a joint venture.  The Aboriginal Youth Leadership Program was developed on the LTB model within the framework of the seven grandfather teachings—wisdom, love, respect, bravery, honesty, humility and truth.

The Aboriginal Youth Leadership Program is guided by an Aboriginal Youth Leadership Steering Committee comprised of members from LTB, the TBIFC and other community members. A Sponsorship Officer position is in the process of being filled.
